Inga Melnikova, DNP, FNP-C is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in New York State. She is the founder of IM Care Family NP, P.C., a urology and preventive medicine practice offering bladder health, prostate health, sexual health, men's Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), women's Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for perimenopause and menopause, a patient-centered approach utilizing functional, integrative, and longevity medicine, and telehealth visits for New York State residents.
She originally graduated from medical school in Rostov-on-Don and continued her education in the United States, earning a B.S. in Biochemistry from Stony Brook University, completing an MD internship at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, becoming a Registered Nurse, then a Family Nurse Practitioner, and later earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
My journey into healthcare was not only academic — it was deeply personal. I spent many years as a patient myself, and that experience shaped my philosophy of care. I believe medicine should not only treat disease but help people recover, prevent illness, maintain dignity, and live long, healthy lives. Because of my personal and professional journey, my practice focuses on preventive medicine, bladder health, pelvic health, sexual health, prostate health, and healthy aging for both men and women. I strongly believe that urological and pelvic health issues affect not only individuals but relationships, families, and quality of life.
My goal through IM Care is to help patients address problems early, prevent chronic conditions, improve quality of life, and support long-term health and longevity for individuals and couples. I believe healthcare should be preventive — not only reactive; educational — not only prescriptive; compassionate — not rushed; and focused on long-term health and quality of life. This is why I created IM Care Family NP, P.C.

What is a Nurse Practitioner (NP)?
A Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with a master's or doctoral degree. NPs are trained to diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medications, and provide a wide range of healthcare services — often with a strong focus on the whole patient, not just the diagnosis.
